"No cryin', Pet. You know Meiles' spirit always be wit' ya..."So a few have brought up the question: "Don't blood elves have longer lifespans than trolls? Won't Meiles be dead by the time Yarifeth fully matures?"
The answer is simply... yes. And here's a quick little something to show that
Those who have known me long enough know that I love doomed relationships. None of my couples make it. Ever. Or even if they do, one will die too early. Gahahaha, you guys should thank your lucky stars that I am not God. Because I will give you all happiness ONLY TO TAKE IT AWAY. *cackle*
Although actually, with Meiles and Yari, I haven't really decided who will go first. Because I like the scenario of Yarifeth dying first as well.

In the scenario where Yari's the one who dies first, he'd be carrying her skull around and talking to her (and can actually hear her responses). Coz trolls be down wit' da spirit world like dat.

This also made me think of what races actually live the longest. I haven't really researched but I think Draenei take the cake there. Then that made me think of impossible loves. Blood elves and draenei have interesting lore behind them, and probably not in the best of terms not just because of faction.
Sorry for getting off topic. Anyways, your art inspires some crazy ideas in me.

Meiles would be very angry at himself for letting it happen at first, but he is more pragmatic than Yari is, so he'll handle it better. Besides, trolls regularly commune with the spirit world, so he'll be carrying her skull around and talking to her. Haha.

I like the scenario of Yarifeth dying first, too, though. Since she can't die of natural causes it has to be a tragic death, and she's gotta be pretty damn messed up if he can't take her to get revived.
Theras would be furious and would come right at Meiles for letting her die, and I also like the idea of Meiles carrying her skull around so he could talk to her (since trolls do commonly commune with the spirits).

Hm...You raise some good points. Theras coming after Meiles would make for a really good story. As well as Meiles carrying around Yarifeth's skull after she's gone...Maybe he could even become cold hearted and mean! But that's kinda overused isn't it? Hm...Looks like you've got some decision making to do in the future 
Personally though, I'll be happy with anything you come up with

I always loved the words voiced by Osamu Tezuka's Phoenix when she tries to explain that the Life of ephemerals like mayflies and other little creatures is still Life and worthy of respect even if it is brief by human standards:
"They live, they mate, they lay eggs, and die fulfilled." -- all Life is One.

Haha related to that, you know how some people feel like they don't live a good life unless they've done great things or been a part of something big? I dunno about that. My goal in life is just to have fun, whether I become part of something big or just enjoy my tiny little nook in the world. I don't feel the need to be "accomplished"

Hehe I think Yarifeth will just either stay in Meiles' house in Sen'jin and live with the trolls, or go live with her brother. But I don't think she'll take another mate

Haha I'm not really much of an RPer. I play on a non-RP server. A friend and I tried rolling a couple toons on an RP server, and we played until level 7 before giving up. It was hard for me to RP while killing things, and when we're just standing around RPing without killing anything, I kept thinking, "Ruuuurgh I should be farming heroics with my main or doing achievements..."
