The answer is simply... yes. And here's a quick little something to show that
Those who have known me long enough know that I love doomed relationships. None of my couples make it. Ever. Or even if they do, one will die too early. Gahahaha, you guys should thank your lucky stars that I am not God. Because I will give you all happiness ONLY TO TAKE IT AWAY. *cackle*
Although actually, with Meiles and Yari, I haven't really decided who will go first. Because I like the scenario of Yarifeth dying first as well.

Drat you woman. This made me cry. I almost held it in but, of all things, his broken tusks are what broke me. And his smile. The tusks more than anything shows the ravages of time on him but the smile. He's still Meiles, still loving her and trying to comfort her and protect her from pain though this is one pain that is unavoidable.
WAAAAAH!!! I started crying again just thinking about it.
This made me look up troll lifespans and it tripped me out because I had read somewhere that due to their regenerative abilities, trolls were theoretically immortal. Plus using "da voodoo" could extend their lives. Ah well, learn something new every day.

Yeah, since he was a voodoo witch doctor (and probably would go back into practice once Garrosh is in charge of the Horde) and Yari a priest, I'm sure between them they could find many ways to extend his life. Average troll lifespan is 70-80 years, but he could probably go a little past a hundred.
But of course, after a while, no amount of healing or voodoo will keep a withering body alive. Such is the circle of life.

Awe poor Yari... I'm not for doomed relationships but the Odd couples (good guy/bad guy... mortal enemies... so on and so forth) one such example (*please don't shoot me*) is Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter... People that have so much to hate eachother for but end up finding that even though they have so much different between them they also share a lot of things that they love...
