I've always liked the animated series Alpha Teens on Machines, and I found all the episodes back on YouTube.
Of course I had to rewatch them all!

And... I found myself strangely crushing over Zawh 'Hawk' Hawkes.

Meaning I've made an alter ego of myself to put in the series and to draw for fun *_*

A few months ago (over half a year ago actually) I did upload a drawing of this alter ego of mine: [link]

Over the past months, I drew various scenes... these ended up inked and coloured.
So after debating I decided to show them to you guys.
Mind you, these are all pretty random. Just when I'm in the mood to draw something romantic or dramatic, these two were my victims.

I do have a more... story like background to this alter ego (whom I call conveniently enough after myself: Yara).
But I'm still working things out. What I do have:

She's from Belgium
She moved to Landmark City because she got contacted by an agency, wanting to hire her as professional cartoonist.
Because Yara's big dream is to be a cartoonist, she said yes, and quickly packed and took the airplane.
Unfortunately, it was a scam. They asked her to send over a sum of money on forehand so the process of making Yara a professional cartoonist would go smooth.
Blinded by her dream coming true, Yara did send over the money. Even though she normally is a rather critical person.
Arriving in Landmark City, she discovered the scam behind all. Leaving her left in a country and city she doesn't know, without shelter to go to.
Because of her obvious 'I don't know where the fuck I am' attitude, she was targeted by a gang and got stolen all of her money.
So, with no shelter and no money, with only some clothing and her art supplies, she decided to make some money by drawing cartoons of tourists.
She found a perfect square with a lot of tourist acitvity to do so. She got befriended with other street artists (mostly musicians)
She can stay at a certain shelter house to sleep, if she's at time of course and if there's still a bed free for her. Otherwise, she sleeps in a quiet alleyway.
Because of her more 'underground' network, meeting honest street artists but also some rather shifty types, she sometimes get valuable information about Paine (the villain of Alpha Teens on Machines)
Which is the exact reason why she got in contact with the A.T.O.M. team. Whenever she gets information, she passes it on to the team.
She got rather befriended with the team, but A.T.OM. often gets confronted with the rather unexpected mood swings she gets and her guilt over the mistake she made.
For instance, she didn't tell her parents back in Belgium that she got a victim of a scam, they still think she's on her way to become a professional cartoonist. She was too proud and also too scared to tell them.
With the money she earns, she regularly sends letters to her parents where she lies about her current state.
She doesn't get along with Hawk at first... at all. They constantly sneer at each other. Partly because Yara is jealous that Hawk DOES get some acting jobs that might make his dream come true, while she cannot make her dream come true.
But of course, the best relationships have to go through a process, which is the case between Hawk and Yara. Growing thowards each other. Don't look at me like that, I'm just a fangirl having her fangasms here...

Phew. I should draw more scenes out where the personality of Yara gets clear through. Bare with me!
