I will update her biography and other stuff another time, also how Birdie got in contact with Basil. For now, I just wanted to show a drawing I made of both Birdie and Basil.
The meaning Basil adresses to his magnifier is equal to the meaning Birdie gives to her umbrella. Equally important.

Some parts are done with pencil, yea, because I didn't have so many colours of markers back then.

I honestly can say that I envy your ability to draw animals - anthropomorphic and otherwise. The coloring and lineart look really good, and Basil looks...like Basil XD gads I remember that movie

Basil looks kinda difficult to draw.. but the first time I drew him he didn't look so bad ._.
I'm getting used to drawing him more and more too
But thankyou! I actually wanted to stay somewhat in the colour sheme of the film. Checking the main character's outfits, green wasn't so common.. but for me it still felt fitting for the movie's colours <3
