LOL, Birdie and her undies. She's too cute. I just want to pick her up and smoosh her to my chest. And dem colours!! Colours everywhere! I love the colours on the meeces. Basil looks extra dashing in blue (especially here. I love his sass.) and Birdie's skirt is something I would pick out of a Victorian catalogue. EEEE- I love all of this!!

OH am I excited to see this! I love your use of colours, and how many of them you've incorporated into one piece. Well done indeed! The warmth of the piece is excellent and I adore how Basil and Birdie stand out from the background.
The choice of clothes is adorable; Basil looks so unusually sweet in this wear, and I dig that you changed his wardrobe - it makes it so much more fun and entertaining to watch. The colour-mix really works, and blue is adorable on him.
birdie is CUTE! I love her outfit, and her excitement is to die for - no dress can ever hold Birdie back, no sir!
The stripes are excellent and the general pattern is very pretty; the colours (as always) are amazing and contrast her so very nicely.
and man, those uderwear of hers 
Their poses are excellent! I can absolutely feel the post-card-y vibe you went for, and I really think you did great. This is a STUNNING piece!

I actually saw this colour scheme on Basil in a book with photos of Victorian fashion for males.
Well, it's not exactly the same, since I'm bound on the colours of my markers, but I agree it looks nice on him!
I was afraid it wouldn't fit Basil, but thankfully that didn't happen

I wonder how she'd be in those late 19th century dresses, those extremely narrow skirts where they have to tripple in.
I read the ladies back then wearing those dresses, often wore a thin chain around their ankles so they couldn't take big steps O_o
