Isn't that the institute and not the Enclave since the Enclave logo is an E instead of of figure?

Ah my personal favorite.
Though I wish The classic Enclave coloring was in FO4.
The White doesn't feel right on it to me.
Maybe in a future DLC.

I love this armor, but I really don't side with the Institute,
which is why console commands are my friend.
Doesn't this power armor look badass with blue eye lights?

The Enclave probably had something planned for that. It's just that they never needed to use it, if it existed, because of Frank being killed by the Chosen One then having his body incinerated by oil rig explosion. And their hypocrisy when it comes to their mutation of Frank is probably a source of their assumption that they had, somehow, "perfected" his mutations, resulting in a human mind in an inhuman body.Β
Also, the Institute being associated with the Enclave by having that suit be the power armor that gets their paint on it? Doesn't exactly win them many positive vibes from me.

you know what, that's actually a good point now that you mention it. they probably did have a backup, it's just frank was handled as it was so no need for anything further.

Course, they didn't really learn there lesson when it came to controlling mutants. In Fallout 3 they tried to kid control Deathclaws. F**king Deathclaws!Β

Well, kinda. They were able to control them via those weird helmet things they put on their heads. But those things are apparently VERY easy to hack, considering how easily the BOS figures out how to control the Deathclaws through their own system. So again, KINDA worked.

Do you reckon we'll see Enclave in Fallout 4?

HFJ13 In reply to qatzol [2016-05-20 22:30:38 +0000 UTC]
While the possibility of them appearing as a cool Easter egg or longer side quest is feasible, the odds of them taking on the role as major hitters in Fallout 4's future dlc's is far less so, for two significant reasons.
The first reason has to do with audience satisfaction. The first thing Bethesda most likely is forced to consider when creating new content is knowing that the major reason they continue to succeed with Fallout is that the Fallout community LOVES THEM, and the reason many like them is because they always bring something different to the table when new content is involved. So including the Enclave as the big bads (because no matter where they are, the Enclave is made up of arrogant, evil, inbred politicians, business men, and aristocrats) would be the farthest from a breath of fresh air for those who have played Fallout 2 and 3, which again takes up a large hunk of the fan base.
The second reason has to do with in-game lore itself. Allow me to ask you three questions that are very important when it comes to the Enclave in the the Fallout franchise's history up to this point: how far west did they travel? Well, that answer is fairly simple. They traveled from California to Washington D.C., able to span the USA with little effort thanks to their affinity with vertibirds. However, this leads us to the second and third questions: did they migrate to any other parts of the east coast, and how far did they travel from Washignton D.C., their main base of operations on the east coast. The answers that could be presented are purely speculative. Yes, MAYBE they traveled to Boston. Yes, MAYBE they traveled past that. But considering their crippling defeat at the hands of the Lone Wanderer and the BOS, even IF they managed to make it so far, their options for rebuilding would be very limited and would even more likely be impossible to do due to their main base being (in canon) blown to pieces along with their "leader" President Eden AKA Colonel Autumn.
Besides, if those data files are correct, why would the Enclave want to set up shop at Nuka World (which sounds amazing, in my opinion)?

You do make a fine point indeed, but even with seeing the Nuka world theories I simply have no idea what it's gonna be about, but it kinda smells of the Old World Blues dlc for Fallout: New Vegas, which I loved completely.
Either way it could be really amazing. Do you reckon we could see the different parts of the world, not just good ole USA? Also I am completely stunned by the length of your response.

I could see it being similar to past Fallout dlcs in general, especially Fallout: New Vegas's Old World Blues, since Fallout 4 has seemingly been taking ques from tht Fallout 3 dlc Point Lookout when Far Harbor was being developed.
In all honesty, I never thought that would've been a good idea in most instances. The reason we love Fallout so much is because of its 1950's USA themes. Their future tech is designed as the 1950's thought the future would look like, all the advertisements and products a redone as if it were the 1950's, and so on. We love it because, and I know this sounds silly, we're in America.Β The most obvious, or at least the one most people talk about, choice for an out-of-country dlc is China. A place so different from the USA it's like comparing apples to fighter jets.
If we were to ever choose a location, I personally would choose Canada. It would still have all of the Fallout America's 1950's charm, since it was annexed by the USA in the Fallout canon, but it would still feel different enough to make it a good dlc location.

Knowing the Enclave, the second he was useless, they'd probably sink the fucker.

it was. the problem is he was also essentially a super mutant.
also, frank horrigan is insanely strong seeing how he doesn't need weapons to rip and tear shit.

Oh ye I know. They hateΒ mutants of any kind, but I can totally appreciate the idea that they'd keep him around simply because he doesn't need weapons to rip and tear shit.
Kinda like how you'll string along a load of quests for a faction you don't like so you can steal their caps and weapons, then nuke em when they're of no more use.
