Description
I'm sorting through my pictures from the trip; meanwhile hope you enjoy Nakai. Aside from the glares this is probably one of my best photos of the whales.Nakai is growing into a bull, his pecs might be as big as his father Tili's someday!

It's really good to hear someone agrees, thank you.
All these people uploading and faving photos of captive whales without a hint of second thought sickens me so much.

I feel ya.
What also makes me sad is how people upload photographs, journals, etc, of animals they keep in completely unnatural settings. Β Keeping social animals, often without members of their own kind, or forcing solitary animals to live in close quarters with one another. Β Feeding them dusty, unnatural, tasteless food day after day, imprisoning them, and dragging them around by their Β necks. Β ):

lol It sure is, and I bet you are. We finally got to see Shamu Rocks, so I'll be post the decent pictures from that as well. We went the same day, just went home for a bit and then came back for that.

That's cool, taking photos during night shows can be tricky! Did you see Tili?Β

Not, not this visit. We went to the One Ocean 3 times to see if we could catch him. We've noticed that if they have him performing on a given day, it's usually the 2nd or 3rd show of the day. He didn't do Shamu Rocks that night either.

I do too, but at least we have an idea now when he performs. Until April, we had gone a full year without seeing him in the show

It is still very interesting to see that these heavy animals can bend like that. Very good shot indeed!
