Ergh! That issue got me boiling. What's with all these stupid repicated villains? I ADORE Otto.. why'd they have to go make some pansy to copy him? I haven't managed to get that far yet, but I hope he dies in a later episode.
Anyways, about the art. Beautiful work. The thicker outline is perfect for chibi-style, and the highlights / shadows are a pleasure to view..
OH!! OH, and I just noticed you added Ock's cute.. gray things.. in his hair. Sideburns? I think. Yeah. So that'd be Amazing Spiderman, issue somethingoranother. Awesome.

Carlyle Calamari is a wanker and Doc Ock shoulda kicked his ass like the poseur he is. Straczynski did a good job introducing a lame villain with a cool story, but why not introduce villains with original powers? I mean, how many goblins are there, and now they throw in a new Ock? Spider-man may be one of the coolest superheroes ever written, but his villains are a little repetitive. New goblins, new sybiotes, new scorpions, new vultures, a girl Ock, a new Kraven! Shit, Kraven wasn't that cool in the first place, they gotta go and make a new one? Even NEW SPIDER-MANS!!!! Somebody should get on that title and come up with some new Spider-man villains, and I mean NEW and ORIGINAL villains with NEW and ORIGINAL GIMMICKS!! When was the last original Spider rogue with an original gimmick that stayed? Venom! And how many of him are there now?!? I can barely even think about it. And you know what the funny thing is? I never even gave this much thought to it until JUST NOW!!!

This is excellent. I love Ock's pokeably chubby tummy. Carlyle is a cheap-arse rip-off artist, and should die many horrible poseur deaths. You chibification of him is neat-o, though.
