Wow. ^_^ What a face.

Does he really pull sleds? My mom always commented on Trudy being a sled dog, but only because when we took her out for jogs, she'd always try to run out in front and start pulling whoever had the leash.

What's the bag for?

Most people who meet him comment on the marbled blue and pink tongue. People used to stop us on the streets in Peterborough to ask what was wrong with my dog, since his tongue was discoloured. Weirdos. He's half Chow Chow, damnit! He comes by the blue tongue naturally.

He does really pull a sled. I'm trying to get him Skijoring (Pulling me on cross country skis). So I figured it would be easiest to start him with a sled first. The hardest part is getting him to understand that, unlike when he's on the leash, he's ALLOWED to pull and be in front of me. He tends to look over his shoulder a lot. I guess he wants to make sure I'm not going to take off on him.

The bag is for carrying things.
It's part of his backpack. On our long walks I used to carry a backpack with water, treats, extra leash, towel, etc... I'd end up exhausted and sweating after a short time, he'd still be frisky and bouncing off walls for hours. So I figured if he carried his stuff maybe it would tire him out quicker. The only downside is that everyone saw the backpack and assumed he was a service dog, and therefore expected impeccable manners from him. We're still working on the manners...
