Sowyyyy...Man I need sleep
I'll add a little sad story here. Have fun crying xD
When Silver was about 17, her mother became sick, and very weak. She could no longer protect herself when Silver was out, so she stayed to protect her. She took care of her as best as she could, and tried to make potions to heal her, but none of them helped. Although she was a skilled alchemist, there were illnesses she still didn't know how to treat. Her mother grew weaker, and Silver became scared. Then one night, she heard a wolf howling, and it sounded close. She didn't want to leave her mother, but she needed to make sure it couldn't hurt them. She coated the tip of her arrows in a fast acting poison, and kissed her mother on the forehead.
"I love you. I'll be right back mom." She whispered quietly.
When she opened the door, she found the wolf no more than 20 feet away, sniffing the air. The wind was blowing away from her, and towards the wolf, so she new he could smell them. Before the wolf could look towards the house, she readied her weapon. The wolf began to growl and creep towards them, and she shot. He whimpered, and fell to the ground. The poison ran through him quickly, and he was dead almost immediately. Silver made a quick lap around the house to make sure there were no others, and went back inside. She ran upstairs quickly, and checked on her mother. She watched her chest to see if she was breathing. It wasn't moving.
"M-Mother? Wake up." She said softly.
She didn't move.
"Mom. Wake up. I know you need your rest, but please." She said a little louder, walking over to sit on her bed.
She kept watching her chest, but it still didn't move.
"Mom! Please, wake up! This isn't funny!" She said louder, tears welling up in her eyes.
"You're scaring me mom! Wake up!!"
By this point, the tears had spilled over like a river, and her voice began to crack.
"Mom! Mom come on, answer me! Mom!!" She screamed.
She shook her lightly, but it still didn't work.
Silver felt like her heart had dropped into her chest. There was no way she could be gone. She couldn't be. She's just sleeping. She's not dead. She's not dead. She's not dead.
She laid her arms on her mothers chest, and buried her face in her arms. She cried, and cried until she couldn't cry anymore, and she just sat there. For days, she sat, just waiting for her to wake up. She didn't eat, she didn't sleep, she just sat there, face buried in her arms, blanket soaked with tears.
She heard animals around the house, clawing at the walls and the door, but she did nothing about it. She didn't have her to protect now, and she didn't see a reason in living. She did nothing. But then, a noise was heard outside. The animals whimpered and were thrown around, and then silence. The door opened, and footsteps were heard coming up the steps. Silver didn't bother looking. Whoever it was, or whatever it was, it could kill her for all she cared. She was alone now. She had no one.
No one.
"Silvy? You in here?" A familiar voice said quietly as footsteps entered the room. "Oh no... Silver..." She said, voice shaking.
Silver slowly looked up and saw her friend, Iris, standing next to her. She thought she had cried all she could, but when she looked back at her mother, the tears welled up once more. She just couldn't take it. The only family she knew she had was laying there in bed, asleep forever. She grabbed onto her friend, and cried into her chest. Iris began to cry too. She couldn't bear to see her friend like this. They hugged each other tightly, Iris lightly petting Silvers hair while she cried and shook in her arms. Iris leaned against the wall, and they stayed like that for a while until they fell asleep, exhausted from crying.
When they woke up, they went out and found a special place to bury her. They found a large rock to use as a tombstone, and carved on it a special poem Silver had read in a book once.

Silver took her cloak, and Iris helped her bury her by a stream. They planted her mothers favorite flowers, amaryllises, all around, and left.
Silver goes back often to tend to the flowers, and sit by the grave to watch over her mother again, just like she used to.
