Description
70 million years ago, in the Late Cretaceous of Mongolia, a pair of Adasaurus mongoliensis proceeds to harrass a Anserimimus planinychus, which was, otherwise, minding its own business. The larger predators scare off a very young and scaly Homalocephale calathocercos that rushes away from the commotion of its larger and feathered brethren. Just under the rocks, a nanshiungchelyid female protects its young by giving them shade. And while the hot red rocks heat the situation, they contrast with the calm greenery, where a Nemegtosaurus mongoliensis watches curiously. This forrested horizon extends throughout most of this landscape that will one day be called the Nemegt Formation.Related content
