Description
Rodan is a very large genetically-engineered flying lizard. With a wingspan of 6 meters, this animal is released up in the air for aerial surveillance. It has been designed with larger pointed wings, a shorter tail, a longer pointed snout and three pairs of spikes in the head. Rodan is known for its high-pitched sound, a characteristic typical of many kaijus, due to the modification of their vocal organs. and the sound emitted is important to reboot military audio systems. It has been designed as a perfect stand-off to the illusive King Ghidorah.Related content

But.... if you're already able to airdrop this thing, why would you need to engineer it for surveillance when you could just use drones, much less using an animal that can't even properly fly for a basis?

Drones make a lot of noise, most of the times. This animal, would be silent on air, for example. Just don't try to overthink this, just enjoy it, or not.

Then investing in tech to make them quieter would be FAR cheaper.

This is good, but I think a gliding lizard is more fitting for Varan than Rodan.

Varan is more like a gliding squirrel or colugo, even though it has a more lizard-like body. I could make Varan now you're talking about it, and I could still make it a gliding lizard.
