Description
In New Zealand, in the early morning, an unfortunate male great spotted kiwi was unable to get to a burrow in time before the sun rises. To his knowledge, now he realizes he's in the hunting sight of a large swamp harrier, New Zealand's ultimate aerial predator. Such sight is rare nowadays, due to kiwis being mostly hunted by introduced land mammals, but the endemic flightless birds of the islands are also hunted by endemic birds of prey. Lets see if the more endangered insectivore is able to survive this one.
