° 3°~~ Meet Florence's human Adeleine =v= Addy for short. Anywhoo;; Just remember Addy came first after all;; The reason Florence has a huge-ass koi fish tattoo on his face is cause Addy's always admired and taken responsibility the koi pond in her gardens...so when she first willed Florence to life, boom, her beloved fish become part of her first friend.
But why did she need Florence in the first place? As the heir to a CEO, she's grown up rather lonely, with a suffocating mother and a doting father. Her status caused other kids to put up a mask around her, so one day, her mind conjured up Florence in the corner of her classroom, all sulky and alone like her 
The only question is how did such a sheltered little girl think up of someone like Florence o_o

What a cutie!~ I love her dress, it has a nice flow and pretty well made shading, i even can notice some peachy spots on her sleeves (i actually would add more of those, to make the piece more interesting and colorful) Her face looks nice, though the shade on her nose is bothering me a bit, as it looks like it's not fitting, the simple cell shading that you have here is more than enough! If you wanted to add a bit of blush - i would reccomend adding it to the whole face (cheeks and nose) instead of that one awkward spot. The shading is neat, though it seems that you wanted to make it so the light comes from area around her arms, which doesnt quite make sense? I would try and make koi shine, so we actually have a "point" of lighting. Koi then would need to have light outlines and shine a bit as well. Speaking of them - were they intentionally left semi-transparent? If so, i would increase the effect, as (for me at least) its not clear if they were supposed to be like that, or completely opake. Back to the light point, just like the black shadows imitates, there should be a dark background/area instead of white and light green.

thanks so much for your ever amazing feedback! =v= aa yes! my super duper soft pink coloring has not been unnoticed ;v; hah it's still against all my natural instincts to do stuff like that TvT thanks for pointing out the nose thing~ it's really a stylistic choice but I do think I shoulda gone a bit lighting on this piece ^ 3^~~ aah yes lighting was an issue;; my original intent was actually to make it seem as if the koi were the light sources but it ended up being like that >.<; oo and they were supposed to be semi transparent~ but I never bothered to make them more so since they were supposed to be the light sources ;A; aaa thanks for pointing that out about the fish!! oh and indeed! I've been meaning to change the backdrop for the longest time;; thank you for your tips on it!!

I like what you are doing right now in a creative aspect. I realize you put a light source from the koi to hit her face, however, I do not feel that it is that noticeable with a white background.
I would put a black background and if you must use the squares than I recommend a very dark color and it would make her and the koi stand out.

I came from
Ok so I dont know who florance is but I came over cause it looks really really pretty! I saw it in projectcomment's gallery and its amazing! Your anatomy of the fish is top notch and amazing, and I enjoy that you really focused on two different colors and the simple background to give it more life. However, for some reason her hands seem really small? I dont know much about human anatomy but they're pretty tiny. However, all of the other proportions seem top notch and the hair seems super flowey and the design is awesome!
This story seems super awesome though... I'll definitly check it out!
