Really just a doodle >v< I never ended up doing anything for pride month ;A; But I have this now of my bi-sexual son Teddy~ ^0^ Aaa I haven't drawn my son in forever! This was really fun to do

This character is really cute and I like the face expression you gave him! ^^
The coloring looks pretty good already, but there are a few things you could improve.
In my opinion the shading of the hair looks a bit messy. Since your style and the character's face expression are rather cartoony, you could actually shade the hair in a more simple style. I also think that adding brighter highlights to the hair would draw more attention to this illustration. You already did some highlighting in the hair, but in my opinion it's rather dull and especially when looking at this illustration in a thumbnail size or from far away it's barely noticeable. I'd suggest trying out different layer modes and colors for the highlights of the hair ^^ Especially experimenting with different colors when shading hair changes the illustrations mood easily. Since this characters hair is purple, blueish highlights would work for a cooler atmosphere while pinkish colours would work for a warmer atmosphere. You can even experiment with using yellow and orange tones. They can work really well as highlight colors because they are complementary colors to purple, but you have to be careful not to overuse them and ruin the color balance. I'd also suggest using layer modes for the highlights of the eyes and using the same highlight colors as for the hair often works, too.
You drew some sort of rim light at some parts of the face and neck, so there should be some light on his hair and clothes too. ^^
Rim light is a great way of separating your character from the background, but when the background is white it can actually help blending in the character and making an illustration look more finished in spite of the white background.
Another thing you could improve is the anatomy, especially the anatomy of the face. In my opinion his nose could have been placed a little bit lower, so that the face is more proportional. The character is presented in the front view, so it appears a bit odd, that the ears are drawn differently... Drawing both ears from the same angle or using a symmetrical ruler will improve the overall symmetry of the face. The neck area and the collarbones also need some improvement, i'd suggest looking up some tutorials and learning to understand the anatomy of this area.
But apart from that, keep up the good work!

This is a really nice piece! I really love the colors you have chosen. His purple hair is vibrant and beautiful and the way you colored it makes it look glossy and somewhat iridescent, which I thought was interesting and also very aesthetically appealing. The linework is very clean as well, which is pleasing since it looks very neat. I love the shading too - it is smooth yet not overly blended, allowing for some interesting textures. What I thought could be improved was the shadow at the back of the image. I am thinking that the background is a wall, but this shadow looks like the light source should be very near him, which would probably make his left sleeve very bright. But it is not, so it feels a little strange. I thought that this might be supposed to just be part of a stylistic background decoration - in that case I would suggest using another color to avoid this mental confusion. I also thought that the lips should have a bit more highlights so that his mouth doesn't appear to be like a hole on the face.
