Description
Fourth in my series of fashion sketches from Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, this is Christine's iconic white dressing gown. She wears it when the Phantom takes her through the mirror and down into his lair beneath the Opera. The actual dressing gown is made of white silk jacquard and has flounced edges and ruffled lace sleeve cuffs. Beneath the dressing gown, Christine wears the red and green leotard from the Hannibal ballet---you can see it peeking out at the neckline.
