Alright, so this piece was inspired by the 100 words challenge 'seeking solace' subject. I first thought of turtles, thinking that 'oh yeah, turtles seek solitude'. I then found out that solace isn't necessarily the same as solitude. And since I fail at drawing animals, I of course just did a man who finds shelter in a giant turtle shell. I thought it was a pretty original idea, and then my sister's friend came up and said 'it's like the guy from dragonball Z' and then I remembered that old guy who wears a turtle shell...Well, mine is different alright! I'm way too lengthy in my explanations.
