Description
This is a follow-up to the teen-baby Bubbles picture that I commissioned from *bbmbbf much earlier - I commissioned him again to do this one of Blossom and Buttercup enjoying a lazy hot summer afternoon in the garden.

There is so much cuteness in this one, and I wanted the image to give the impression that Blossy and B-Cup were acting more childishly than usual. Well, even if she was really little, you just know that Blossom would still be reading some complicated book, so there she is. But the thumb-sucking gave her a cuter, more childlike attitude.
The panties that they're wearing were also my idea to give them a less mature appearance (they were originally meant to be diapers, not bloomers). Buttercup is entirely believable - in fact, even if she were acting normally, I think she'd still be sprawled out in the shade of a tree, stuffing her face with juicy berries. But just to add that last touch, I asked for her to be splattered randomly with berry juice, as she's feeling all hot and lazy (and because babies often wear half their meal too).

Finally, as a bit of a foot-lover, I asked Bbmbbf to have Blossom kicked her flip-flop off and running her toes absentmindedly through Buttercup's hair. What with the foot lightly rubbing up the side of her head, the heat generally, and a bellyfull of juicy berries, I could quite easily see Buttercup dozing off soon. Cute.
