The moment Cognac saw Natrolite eyeing the Tangerine Quartz fusion with suspicion, she knew something was bound to happen. What even made the incident more jovial was the fact that Natrolite was actually a Homeworld official, and in front of her stands a fusion. The Quartz fidgeted nervously as the official demanded a rather intrusive request, and then everything blew up at once. The large gem stood up in fury, and was dishing threats and yelling once she had successfully forcefully exposed the Quartz's second gemstone. Cognac felt anger more than she did fear. Who does this gem think she is to enter this cafe to put her hands on this gem and cause a big scene, disrupting the peace as well as scaring the waitress (and everyone else) who did nothing wrong? Cognac didn't direct all her frustrations towards Natrolite though. Can't these fusions unfuse during their shift? They can still obviously help each other, and it would've decreased the risk of getting found out by a lot.
Cognac confronted Natrolite, only to be interrupted and then have one of her spikes impale through the ground just a foot away from her. Cognac was furious, but did not want to get killed nor in trouble, so backed away to where Charbon and Gold were standing. Anxiety began to creep up on her. What was going to happen next? What was going to happen to the Cafe?
