Your piece (and other works) have inspired me to take up Apophysis once again. I downloaded 2.09 beta and have installed a few plugins. I have found that even if I am not yet good at fractals, I can always use them in my digital art. Wonderful textures! Do you ever use any of your fractal work in another program?

First thanks for the compliment. I am happy that you are inspired by my work.

I haven't really tried to use the fractals elsewhere. The most I've done is add borders and signatures or a background when I forget to render with one .

The greatest manipulation I've done was for the header over on my zazzle page and a few minor adjustments to get them set for some of the products over there.

I have done a few pieces using them with Paint.net, but with Apoph 2.09 I discovered that I could make the background transparent and that changed everything. I'll try to post the last spacescape I did using Apoph 2.09.

Wow that is beautiful. I have Firefox but don't use it much since I started using Chrome. Maybe you could create a theme for Chrome? My wife loves Firefox so I'll show her your Persona. I bet she'll like it.

I finally got around to posting my fractal spacescape. I couldn't remember if I had given you the link, so here it is. [link]

The textures for the planet and the nebula are from fractals in Apop 2.09 and used in Paint.net to put it all together.

Thanks. I am still learning as well. Best way I find is to jump in and play then some days you will have a 'light bulb' moment and something new becomes clear.
