I'm NOT positive, but I believe there're some Xaos tricks that could help clean this up, in that you could potentially end up with one set of the yellow-orange rings rather than 2. I'm not positive, but that seems to be possible given some discussions between some of the advanced Xaos types I've had the privilege to be a fly-on-the-wall around...
That being said, I do like this piece as is! Its jewel-like coloring and very intriguing patterning are quite fun. I think I still prefer the other piece we've discussed due to its relative novelty - at least, novel to me.
