I'm pretty sure the tub scene was a homage to the 90's movie, they just switched the parts between Leo and Raph to continue with the reoccurring "hurt Leo" storyline from the 2005 tmnt series and the comics.

Yo estaba esperando que Donatello se sentiría más culpable y cuidaría de Leo, después de que ellos pelearon y que Donnie le dijo "aquí tú eres el lento" "si yo fuera el líder" "tú nos estas llevando al desastre", pero en los avances vi que quien cuida más de Leo es Rafael.
