That one ins't completely true, because I broke the first three turrets incredibly fast wihtout even understanding what I was doing xD I think I accidentally unlocked 1 or 2 of the turrets-related achievements within the first 30 seconds of this test chamber.Then, I started listening to them and felt bad killing them
I'm glad this Portal series is getting a bit popular, but don't forget to check out the other stuff in my gallery if you liked it, please =3 (you could even +watch me, then I would worship you forever \o/)

Well, almost everything is limited. In Portal 2, I think on the loading screens or something like that, you can see the turrets being loaded with bullets.
They just clearly have a lot of them.
In the game they're unlimited but in real life I'm sure they'd end eventually.

Is the turret saying "Target acquired" because it's gonna shoot Chell, or because it's laser searcher thingy is pointed direction at her breasts??

I love Turrets! That was my reaction, until they killed me. Did you know they are coming out with a turret plush soon? I'm really excited! Mostly because I made a turret plush for my friend, and I think the turret speaks too, but I'm not sure.

Oooh I'm looking forward to it °_° I saw a video on vimeo, someone did a turret plush, with sensors that can tell if you're in front of it (then it says "I see you" and such things), or if you lift it ("Hey ! put me down !") or if you make it fall ("Aaaaaahhhaaa") I WANT IT SO MUCH !!

The turret cant open the guns to shoot, so hugging it is completely save

its on the decomisioning part where broken turrets head, it says " thank you" when you pick it up, after ward it says a few things, like "get mad" and " dont make lemonaid" after my first playthrough i picked it up and was like @.@

That's the thing, though, how would she have gotten down there? Plus, the bit about being tossed into the bowels of the earth and pecked by birds is a big hint to something that hasn't happened just yet at that part of the game.
I love that turret, though. I always pick her up and take her with, then set her down as a "guard" just outside the room. Anybody that tries to walk up will think she's dangerous and leave!
