I really liked this lineart so I coloured it in 8D I love the origionality of it
I surprised myself with my colouring XD Normally I'd be sorta sloppy but I did pretty good considering I was pretty much doing it in the dark XD

*The poor soul had been for for several days, his arms limply looped over a plank of wood. He was chilled to the bone from the cold nights and his sides were sunken in, his head resting heavily on the plank as he struggled to stay awake. He began to nod off as his arms slipped abit, bobbing under the water a little before he jolts awake and weakly hangs on to the plank again, though sleep kept trying to take him away from the agony...As if it was trying to help him in a sad sort of way...*

Sonic: *whimpers weakly as he attempts to get some sleep, he begins to toss and turn from the cold water*

*He bobs under again as he feels his hands slowly slip away from his life support, slipping below the cold waves as bubbles lightly filter from his mouth. His muscles felt like jelly, weak and useless as he let them sink down above him. He wanted to at least watch the sunlight through the surface...At least he would die seeing the light...But, slowly, two webbed hands grab Sonic from behind and pull him down, away from the suns rays that his hands weakly tried to grasp at*

Sonic: *wriggles around, struggling to get to the surface, his desperate expression turning to the figure that was behind him*

???:*the creature looks at him, the cold look in its eyes fading as a look of pity replaces it. The creature watches him for a moment before gritting his sharp teeth and swimming for the surface with the weak soul*

Sonic: *closes his eyes, beginning to lose consciousness as he feels the creature leading him to the surface*

*He feels his head break above the waves, the loud ocean and the sound of seagulls alluding that fact. He wasnt sure how much time had gone by, but the next thing he knew was he was being dragged onto land. Onto a sandy shore*
???:*frowns a little as he lets the land walker flop down on the sand, gaining his legs in the sunlight as he kneels beside the weak creature. He pokes him a little bit, feeling his bony side as he grunts in understanding, doing a smooth back flip as he dives into the water and swims off*

Sonic: *stirs and slowly begins to open his eyes, he groans and holds a hand up to the sky, trying to block the sunlight from it before coughing up water from his lungs* W-what the... what happened? *looks down into the ocean and sees a small ripple, he rubs his head with his hand, confused*

*A fish suddenly grets thrown from under the water, landing in the sand in front of him with large bite marks on it*

Sonic: *gasps as he looks over to the fish, he crawls closer* W-what...? *retches a bit from the bite marks* Ugh...

???:*slowly rises from the water a little, showing the top of his head as he watches, quickling ducking under with a splash when he's noticed*

???:*rises his head from the water a little behind him near the shore, dropping another fish down loudly on top of the other one before quickly diving into the water again with a loud splash. Maybe this creature was afraid of him....But it seemed to be helping him by giving him food...Even if it was uncooked fish...*

Sonic: *looks down at the fish, confusingly before picking one up* You want me... to eat it?

???:*a splash comes from behind him as he turns around to see nothing but ripples. It was obviously observing him*

Sonic: *turns away then turns back to the fish, he soon hears his stomach rumbling with hunger and shrugs before taking a bite out of the fish*

???:*the sound of something emerging from the water sounds behind him as Sonic turns around to find a hedgehog, just like himself..! But he was drenched and didnt seem to care. His eyes were fierce and showed caution, walking over on all fours but stops at a short distance from him, watching him eat*

???:*stops as he watches his lips move, making a quiet chirping sound from the back of his throat*You...speak english..?*flinches when Sonic looks at him quickly, flexing his own spines*

Shadow:*perks his ears as he tilts his head abit, reaching over as his claws grow longer, cutting the fish in half that Sonic was holding as his claws grow small again, picking the half of the fish up as he happily munches on the fish casually, leaving Sonic to blink at him in wonder at those sharp claws*

Shadow:*lays down comfortably on his stomach with his lower half in the water*I use them to defend myself mostly. The sharks attack our kind and claws are how we defend ourselves.
