I really liked this lineart so I coloured it in 8D I love the origionality of it
I surprised myself with my colouring XD Normally I'd be sorta sloppy but I did pretty good considering I was pretty much doing it in the dark XD

Shadow:*stands up as he shakes the sand off himself abit, walking across the dry sand to the tree with mostly discomfort appearing on his features. Perhaps walking on land hurt him...But when he came closer to Sonic to inspect the tree he was knelt against he saw a large, deep scar going across his legs as if he was lashed with a whip*Maybe we could dig one out...

Shadow:*flinches as he looks at him, then at his leg*Hmm? That? Thats just an old wound. I was held by my legs with thin wire to keep me from escaping.*he seems rather calm about it*It only hurts to walk now. I can swim just fine. Walking for too long makes my legs give out.

Shadow:*lifts his head out of the water since it had been under that whole time while Sonic was looking back at his legs. He didnt seem out of breath or anything either*Hmm? Oh. My kind just can.

Shadow:*blushes abit as he looks back at him as he swim' by this point the land Sonic had been on was but a meer speck on the horizon behind them*We tend to stay clear or land. But...lately i've been doing everything in my power to get ONTO land thanks to our leader...I hate to leave my people but...their blindly loyal to him and would kill me if they knew I was running away. If I could stay up on land for a good while my scent will grow faint and they may not be able to track me. But...I will need salt water to survive in as much as possible. Im allergic to the sunlight. It makes me weak when im under it too long. It could kill me...
