Vladimir sauntered through the castle halls, a feeling of anxiousness welling up in his heart. Today was a special day, but it was also a day where absolutely everyone in the kingdom would spoil him rotten. He anticipated something, anything, that would signal the start of a day of near endless fawning and coddling. Thankfully he wasn't treated to such luxuries yet, but that changed as soon as he entered into his private chambers.

There before him was an onslaught of food and drink, enough to feed at least two or three families! Cake, banana pudding, butterscotch pudding, chicken, sandwiches, ice cream, sparkling cider (non alcoholic, of course), the works! He staggered in a mixture of surprise and terror as he beheld the feast in front of him! He looked around for anyone who might be hiding in secret, only to find a note from a certain princess he was related to.

"Dearest Vladimir," it began. "If you're reading this, then you've probably found this fresh bounty of food waiting for you. Sadly, father and I will be out for most of the day until tonight, so we left this for you to snack on until tonight. Hopefully this will satisfy you, my corpulent little brother! Love, Zelda.

"P.S. Happy Birthday!"

Vladimir nearly crumpled the note in disgust, knowing full well what his elder sister was up to. She purposefully set this up as an elaborate jab at his weight and he almost nearly fell for it! And worst part? His growling stomach was not protesting the prank at all. He was stuck; he didn't want to humor his sister, but he couldn't waste all this food either. Perhaps he could take a small sample of everything and have the maids save it for lunch or dinner.

"Well," Vladimir sighed, loosening his tie. "I am a tad hungry..."

((Yep! Today is Vladimir Nohasen Hyrule's birthday! I created him on November 9th, 2015, so he's two-years-old in real time. He's still 17 for the purposes of the story of the AU, so consider this a downplayed "Not Allowed to Grow Up" thing going on.
