The obese Turian looked down at the spare tire occupying his middle, incredulous at how heavy he had gotten in the years he was assigned to the starbase. Turians were known to pride themselves on their military prowess, so to find himself having the disposition of a, in his own words, a human sumo wrestler was rather distressing. He lifted his belly, feeling it's heft and listening to his innards slosh about. He turned his attention to the full-body mirror in front of him, only for his heart to sink like a rock. His casual outfit could barely fit him as a noticeable sliver of belly was peeking through. He even found himself cringing at his face which so far had survived the slow thickening over the years, but it was clearly beginning to lose the battle as he could see a budding double chin. Not even his exoskeleton could hide his jawline. He sighed to himself, placing his hands on his hips and feeling his soft lovehandles.

"...fuck," he muttered under his breath. "I've gotten so much fatter since I've come aboard the starbase. What's the commander going to think? ...shit! Will they even recognize me?!"

Ladies and gentlemen, meet my Turian OC Vargas! As you can see, he's a chonky boy, which is a rarity for Turians apparently. I'd like to explore him a bit more, so you might see him every now and again.

Side note: I know absolutely NOTHING about Mass Effect!
