Wow, nice shot. Where did you go to get this angle? Is it Penang Hill or something? ( Haven't been to Penang for years!) Hahaha, wanna take a look from this location. Would surely be as beautiful as your photograph.

It's shot from the peak with a telephoto lens, when you're up there you'll get a wider view (like 50 times wider? if compared to what you see in this photo).
You can take the new train up, it's just a 10mins ride! A must visit during night time, sunrise or sunset.

My ship had been scheduled to visit Penang back in the late 1970's, but our schedule changed and I never ended up being able to visit. Looking at the glittering high rises, I am thinking that things might have been a bit different back then. Certainly that has been the case for Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai.
I always like it when the moon is this bright. It makes the waves easier to read when at sea, and it is surprisingly easy to drive with lights out in a vehicle, as we have done when I was with ground troops.

Things indeed changed a lot.. there are lots of new highrise.. apartments & buildings but the nostalgic heritage site is still well-kept & preserved until now (George Town, Penang)
haha yup! full moon light is just beautiful, sea is not as dark as it used to be..
