How to Install Custom Themes - A guide by neiio

You need your system to be patched first in order to install 3rd party visual styles for Windows (uxstyle or uxtheme patcher).

You can use the Theme Installer to install the theme afterwards:

Or manually move the theme to WindowsResources folder.
You can use Navigation Icons Customizer to edit the explorerframe:

Or manually edit WindowsSystem32explorerframe.dll with a resource editor (I use Restorator) to replace the matching resource bitmaps.

I've done this theme quite some time ago, and didn't make it support the use of small icons; you'll have to go to taskbar -> properties and uncheck "use small icons".

tengo problema al instalarlo cuando uso el .exe se para la instalacion y dice que mi windows no acepta temas ya utilice los parches y aun asi me sale el mismo error

No estoy seguro de si se ha instalado UxStyle (de uxstyle.com) o UniversalThemePatcher todavía; si no lo hizo usted podría tener que hacer eso primero.
También asegúrese de usar x64 para sistemas de 64 bits, x86 para sistemas de 32 bits.

No, you can use separate themes for separate users.
Only the start orbs (and navigation icons, if you change them) carry over to other users.

Currently the port of the other League of Legends visual style (the "Game" one) and the StarCraft 2 visual style is progressing better, but I still have a long time until I finish them.
I'll let you know when I've finished porting this (or the other style), I'll try to make haste, but I'm pretty bad at porting this far.

If Navigation Icons Customizer doesn't work, download a resource editor (I use Restorator2009).
With restorator, you should open \Windows\System32\explorerframe.dll (or \System\explorerframe.dll, not sure which one), and afterwards open "bitmap", and replace the files with the ones in the package.
If I'm not mistaken, the numbers of the bitmaps to change are:
280: Frame
288: Go_Stop_Refresh_Dropdown
337: Go
577: Default
578: Hover
579: Disabled
581: Pressed
34560: Go (not sure which one is which, but changing both is sure to do the job)
34569: Stop Default
34575: Stop Hover
34581: Stop Disabled

This is usually caused by a missing or faulty system theme patch; I suggest you download Universal Theme patcher, restore the files that can be restored, then install it again.

This seems - not only seems, it's definetely using basic mode.
Try applying Windows 7 theme to see if it's in aero mode, and if so, switch back to this one.

so i think that i see the problem now,,,,u say that this is not working without aero?because i am trying apply this theme in windows 7 which is going under Virtual Box and on graphic display drive it´s writing that i have only basic vga adapter,,and that aero is not working because i dont have right graphic drivers..

Ah yes, it is an Aero theme; I've pretty much ended up neglecting the basic mode to it.

hi i cant find out how to set the path. I know how to get to where you can set the path but i dont know how to. I am trying to set a lock option under the shut down menu. Thank you.

Usually it should be clicking on "set path" and typing the path, then pressing enter.
For the shut down / etc, there's a fix I've made, because it seems like it can't be set the same way.
With this fix, the shut down menu will work, but it can't be rewritten into other panel.

I think i'm understanding wrong but when you say there is a link in the description with the self installer, i don't believe you, because i clicked on every link in the description and nothing downloads that.

i downloaded and ran the autoinstaller. only problems now. my start icon is still win 7 default. my taskbar is shortened. and well this

Start orb is in the main download archive of the deviation (~18MB 7zip file).
Use Start Orb Changer to replace.
For the taskbar... I suggest you hide your tray icons first (right click, properties, "hide, only show notifications").
As it is now, the left / right side has constant size, the dock is scaled for the rest.

1.Go to Personalize
2.Change theme to classic
3.delete the LoLGame Folder and LoLGame theme from tWindows/Resources/Theme folder
4.Open up Universal Theme Installer and install theme again.
Should fix that too.
