"I'll take the big one, you take the ugly one?""Okay, just one question, Rob. Which one's the ugly one?"
My half of an art trade with HetaliaHeteroShipper , who asked for her adorable OC Chickadee with another member of the Batfamily. I asked her about her baby girl's age, and when she mentioned Chickadee is a contemporary to Dick Grayson's time as Robin in season one, my fate was kind of sealed on who I was going to draw her with.
We did agree on a traditional trade, hence you get more of my terrible traditional coloring skills again. (I actually don't mind that much how my traditional coloring turned out this time around, but trying to work out Chickadee's hair color was an interesting little speed bump I hit. She has a rather particular shade of hair that's somewhere between ginger and light brunette, and trying to make an equivalent to it in traditional coloring was probably what delayed me the most on this trade. Regardless, I hope you like it, hon!)

If I didn't hate doing traditional coloring so much because of how tedious it is I'd do it more often tbh. But with my pretty markers I am determined to do it more because they make it more... enjoyable??? ????? But you need to hush up because I've always liked your coloring. 8( Fight me Okaasan. But yeah digital is easier so I do feel you on that.

I can definitely understand where you're coming from there. Traditional coloring is tedious as hell and can really eat up your time and energy. But oh my gosh yes, your markers are beautiful and you make beautiful things with them and yes please do more traditional coloring with those markers, Kimba dear. ;~; Okay fine. (I'm not fighting, I'm too much of a weenie. XD) Digital can be easier; the thing I like most is that the eyedropper tool means color precision and I've been obsessed with that.
