- Distinguishing features: Huge eagle wings are easily her most notable feature, as they emerge from her upper back. Like her brother Lance and late father Artemis, she has the "Pendragon-green" eyes and Pendragon "hair-tenna" fringe that most of their family is known for having. Her pupils distinctly narrow into slits or widen to almost envelope her irises, depending on the amount of light she is taking in. She also rarely-seen scars on her upper and inner thighs and hips, and dislikes questions being asked about them. Additionally her body language and voice will alter drastically when she switches between her two personalities.
Allegiance: Neutral, often leaning toward chaotic tendencies in her desires to follow her own whims and sense of justice. Previously an up-and-coming member of The Rogues Gallery, after a long ordeal she shifted alliances of her own choosing, and has since become a criminal informant/consultant under a careful leash and watch from the Gotham City Police Department. Her handler is Detective Ellen Yin, with whom she's often butting heads.
Powers/Abilities/Styles/Gifts:
- Enhanced Gliding - Despite having large harpy eagle wings, Guen's mutation lacks the necessary hollow bones and air sacs on her lungs in order to make her buoyant enough for true flight, despite her dense muscle structure and rotating ball socket joints. She can however, glide for extended periods of time and has limited control over her gliding.

History:
Born of an affair between Artemis Pendragon and Clio Zeus, Artemis gave his daughter the name "Guenhivyre" in one of its older spellings, meaning "white lady", because she was the light of his life. For the first four years of her life, Guen was often shuffled back and forth between her parents' homes, until the day when she and her two older half-brothers were both kidnapped and taken to a research facility owned by Roland Daggett, called The Lion Research Institute. There, the children were used in an experiment to create superhuman mercenary soldiers. Each of the children were implanted with neurochips that enabled the "holder" a certain level of vocal command over the child, to ensure orders would be carried out once the "weapons" were stable and capable of being sold to the highest bidders. However, despite being spliced with harpy eagle DNA, little Guen showed no emerging signs of the raptor's traits. This suited the scientist in charge of her, Professor Achilles Milo, all too well, as he intended to keep her for himself. He artificially suppressed the raptor instincts and gave her additional injections of the DNA, to try to hurry along the eventual emergence of her wings. However, four years after the children had been kidnapped, her elder half-brother Logann rescued her from an attempt by Milo to molest her, and aided by Dr. Kirk Langstrom, the two children escaped the facility. But due to complications, Guen was separated from her brother and Langstrom and shafted into the foster care system.
Unbeknownst to anyone, Guen was secretly kept hidden in the system under orders from The Court of Owls, to which her late father had ties. She was rarely shuffled between foster homes, as the Court placed one of their own conveniently in a position to best monitor and rear the child, a mysterious and intimidating woman Guen primarily only knew as "Ms. Floral". Under the woman's supervision, Guen largely blocked out her memories and was kept safe from anyone from institute who went to find her, and Cassandra Floral fostered the child's fascination with dark and creepy things. When Guen's wings budded, emerged and fledged at age 15, Cassandra managed to reassure Guen's fears and doubts and help her to hide the [then-very small] wings beneath thick clothing. Eventually even after Guen became a legal adult and no longer needed to be in the system, Cassandra would also encourage Guen's fascination with psychology, particularly criminal psychology, and Guen would take that as her major entering college. Upon entering college however, Cassandra seemed to vanish into the æther and Guen could find no trace of her foster mother no matter how hard she searched. She decided to follow the path Ms. Floral had set her on however and opted to not bring up the woman again, feeling nobody would believe that Ms. Floral existed.
Thanks to Cassandra continuing to maintain an eye on Guen's progress however, Guen was given special permission to visit Arkham Asylum to better analyze and study many of the patients and inmates housed there (usually donning a disguise in hopes the inmates wouldn't recognize her on the streets should they escape.) This proved to be more of a danger than a blessing; though she did manage to strike up an intellectual friendship with The Riddler, she would wind up unintentionally antagonizing Jervis Tetch and developing a schoolgirl crush on Jonathan Crane. The crush quickly dissolved however, once Crane took advantage of Guen's routine visits and trusting nature to orchestrate an escape. Inadvertently he wound up dragging her along with him and decided to turn her into a test subject and quasi-assistant in his fear experiments, giving her an alias of "Wraith". Her outings with Crane would garner the attention of several other rogues, as well as her two long-lost half-brothers and Achilles Milo.
As her memories and raptor instincts slowly began to push their way to the surface, Guen's wings began growing at a rapid pace and her mental stability started to dissolve. When the opportunity presented itself, Milo attacked her and in the process, her raptor instincts re-emerged as a completely separate personality that called herself "Wraith", taking the alias as her own name and declaring that her reason for "waking up" was to protect Guen. After a brief respite, Wraith and her friend Ink are snatched up by Milo and Tygrus, who take them to a facility set up by Dorian, who seeks to study Wraith's development. (Milo has other plans of his own.) After a large, anti-climactic fight involving the scientists, Tygrus, her half-brothers, her friends, Batman and Robin, Guen is rescued (though she loses the scythe the Scarecrow gave her in the process.) She is later approached by Two-Face, who had retrieved the scythe and had it upgraded, with the offer for her to join up with him and learn what it really means to be a proper rogue. Vanishing without a word to anyone else, Wraith wound up developing a father-daughter bond with Two-Face, who was slowly prepping her to eventually take over his position as a mob boss.
After two months of radio silence, Wraith re-emerged to reconnect with her friends and try her hand at the villainous life again. This time, she would learn just how deep Edward Nygma's feelings toward her ran, among other things that had transpired in her absence and finding new alliances to forge. Milo wasn't far behind in learning of her return however, and orchestrated a trap, kidnapping Guen's friend Erin in order to get to the winged woman. Begrudgingly setting aside their differences, Guen and Jervis went to rescue Erin, though things didn't go as they had hoped. Milo had another point of leverage over Guen apart from the vocal command technology; he had saved a favorite stuffed toy Guen's mother had given her as a child that she had had at the institute, and used it to distract her long enough to suppress Wraith temporarily from interfering. At Guen's insistence, Jervis left with Erin and Guen faced down Milo on her own, despite inevitably knowing what was about to happen...
She was found afterward, a bloody mess having molted all of her previously blue feathers and regrown dark gray ones. Through the combined efforts of Ink, Ramsey, Gary, and Crane, she was retrieved (sadly triumphant that she'd taken her stuffed dragon back) and taken back to Two-Face to arrange for Dr. Matthew Thorne to look her over. Ex post facto, Guen, Lance, and Logann arranged to have Dr. Langstrom deactivate their neurochips and Milo captured and sent to Arkham in the process. At the end of this, Wraith tiredly approached Batman, offering to give back everything she had stolen while under the Scarecrow's leadership and do time for her crimes, wanting to just be done with everything that had gotten her into that matter. Vouching for her, Batman was able talk things through with the G.C.P.D., and Guen's sentence was eased somewhat as the police decided to take her on as a criminal informant, giving her to newly-transferred Detective Yin to be handled.
While out on a case with Yin, Wraith unexpectedly found her body punishing her and was discovered by a mysterious, fey-like entity that donned the name and appearance of "The Plague Doctor". Affectionately nicknaming the entity "P.D.", she was informed to her shock and horror that she was pregnant. Unable to fathom the horrific possibility, Wraith later slipped away from Detective Yin and took a quick trip to Star City, trying to find lab tech that would give her further results and answers on her condition, only to be apprehended by Green Arrow, who showed a greater amount of human compassion and curiosity toward why she was there than Batman ever displayed. On her return to Gotham, Guen was put under tighter restraint from Yin, much to the [very vocal] disapproval of The Riddler. Recognizing the opportunity presented, Yin allowed Guen the chance to visit Riddler in his syndicate hideout, where Guen learned Riddler had been keeping secrets from her. The biggest secrets came in the form of two understudies, the hand-picked "Mystery" and the self-styled "Kwiz Kid", though much more infuriating was the fact most of the members of the syndicate were female. Feeling on edge and lied-to, Wraith's anger is [currently] slowly seething beneath the surface toward Edward, though she is slowly starting to bond with Mystery and Kwiz Kid. On the other side of things, she went to inform her close friends of these secrets Edward was keeping, only to encounter and interact with a costumed man calling himself Anarky.
After another encounter with Anarky, she has been offered the chance for an alliance with him and is trying to swallow the claim that he can lead her to the man who killed her father. More shocking was the instant respect and genuine flirtation she received from him, as well as recognizing her two personalities as both being a part of her (as opposed to Edward, who vehemently denies acknowledging her Wraith personality.) Unbeknownst to her, she has also encountered him out-of-costume as Lonnie Machin, and the two hit it off rather well as they walked and talked, just trying to get to know one another...
Important Notes and Quirks:
- There are times where she will unconsciously twist and scratch at spots on her wings in attempts to preen and get rid of old feathers to allow new ones to grow in.
- Her moods will often be reflected in the body language of her wings. Even if by some miracle Wraith manages to keep a neutral expression, her actual mood will usually show in her wings and how she moves, holds, or rests them. She will also often use them to shield herself from unwanted physical contact with other people, and has taken to using them to "wing-slap" people when she's particularly annoyed.
- Her favorite swear is a self-created (and sometimes slightly varied) screech of "Mother Fudge Bucket!"
- Guen, though polite and sweet, tends to be a bit closed off and introverted, often preferring the company of books to people unless she grows very close to a person whom she feels is trustworthy. Wraith however, is much louder and more outgoing, and tends to make both friends and enemies at the drop of a pin.
- Due to being a survivor of rape and sexual assault, Guen will instinctively jerk away from physical contact with men, even men that she was previously close friends with. If she initiates the contact and it remains brief, she has less of a problem with it. She has no issues with physical contact with women however, and will often seek hugs from friends when she needs comfort. She allows very few men to still touch her, a list that stands at currently just Batman and Green Arrow, though Anarky's trying to make third on that list.
- When feeling particularly stressed and needing to retreat into herself, Guen will often curl up with her stuffed dragon from childhood (christened "Fangs") and stroke his back like he's a living cat.

I definitely love the little bits of information you've provided here, especially when you've touched upon her personality and behaviour and how it reflects in her wings. (Little things like this give me life okay?) Her history is also rather tragic too, and everything that revolves around her past and Milo (gosh I hate that guy!) Made me want to scoop her up and hide her away from the world! ;A;
