This was requested by ~g2jacob but it's actually something I've been wanting to do. I was asked to draw the first three starters but then I mentioned drawing one starter, a normal Pokemon you can catch, and a legendary. The legendary will be in a separate tutorial because these two took up a bit of room. And I can't decide which one to draw. I want to show one of the more complicated ones, not Palkia though because..... I will end up hating on it. Like I always do.Anyway, I hope this helps you guys. This was my first time drawing Dodrio too. It was fun and it was a randomly chosen Pokemon.

thanks for the tutorial, iam always trying to find ways to draw pokemon with my own style or uniqueness. Like i always want to draw them in different positions or showing their attacks etc. and its hard. some of them are really hard to draw.

This is really good! You're showing some of the slightly more complex poke'mon (the ones that aren't just circles) and breaking it down into basic shapes and showing how to define them. I always have a hard time finding tutorials on some of the more interesting pokemon (Jigglypuff doesn't count, it's too easy).

Mewtwo can actually turn out to be a pain to draw. He's awesome, but a pain at the same time.

I know >_<; I'm drawing him and mew as a part of a gift for someone, and it sucks! After this, I think I'm gonna advertise myself as someone who will not draw legendaries!
