Description This week, we studied five stylized drawings of the female form by Fred Moore, one of Disney's greatest and most influential animators (along with Bill Tytla).  Here is the second drawing we studied.  The first half of the assignment was simple enough: copy Moore's original drawing to the letter.  The second half was a bit more difficult: turn Moore's original drawing upside-down, and draw the figure likewise.

D.B. was very impressed with my right-side-up drawing; my upside-down one, less so.  Fortunately, D.B. wasn't too harsh on our mistakes for the upside-down drawings, because this exercise is tough even for professional artists.
