Description
Location: Pollnabrock, North Sperrin Mountains,G arvagh, Co. Londonderry, Northern Ireland______
I love this shot, beautiful desolation.
Pollnabrock or Poll na mBroc in Irish probably means Badgers' Hole or Hollow of the badgers
This is a continuation of the Tamnyrankin series, though by looking at the map, this is a new area called Pollnabrock; in Northern Ireland every mile or so is a different place name. I have a fascination for Irish place names as they can tell us something about the past geography or history of an area. Pollnabrock must've been local badger haunt.
This is the limit of the eastern edge of the north Sperrin mountains.

Beautiful wintery image - lonely tree shots always appeal to me.

Well... my parents are full british (and slight german) and moved here like a year before i was born and i had a little accent when i was little, but my parents grew me out of it when i got made fun of in preschool. but i've never compleatly grown out of my british nature.
