From a hurt and shivering initiate at 12, seeking solace from the people who bullied her, to a senior guide to newer Phangirls at 22. Β *sigh* As long as I can find a guide who will give me the truth of humanity, no matter how harsh it may be, I can learn the message and impart it to others. Β Erik, your fellow Phantom has been waiting for you, and will wait for you still, to come and whisk her away through the mirror.

Well except the werewolves.....that really was the only thing in the movie that was first closes to its folklore AND they were good actors

yeah, but still, the werewolves can change whenever they want to and there's none of that silver bullet stuff.

Thank you for your kind words!
I was a bit unsure about this one when I first started working on it, but I am quite happy the way it came out.
I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Fantastic job. I've very impressed (and jealous) of your skills of foreshortening.

It actually was a desperate attempt to differentiate this piece from another one that's already in the gallery.
The pose was rather similar, so I started playing with the angles and perspectives.
In the end, I am quite happy how this turned out.
Thank you for your comment!

Thank you!
I like the warmth of candlelight over harsh electric light.
Though knowing Erik, he'd be quick to adapt new technology, while my Leo runs the other day...
I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I really enjoy the nice warmth of candlelight and firelight over lights any day as well.

And knowing Erik he would. ^.^ Heh Leo is totally hard core. ^^
And I always love your work! Its a great inspiration as always. ^^

Thanks, love.

Leo is a technophobe, through and through.
Erik, on the other hand, if he were alive today, would be all about gadgets like iPad and smart phones and such.
And, dare I say it, Vocaloid.
Why do I have a feeling he'd be all over that?

Your welcome ^^

I don't blame him though, technology can be the root of all evil sometimes, and sometimes not. I only say this because I have battled many a computer over what it really needed to do but it was doing the complete opposite.

I have this feeling that he'd treasure the few female vocaloid that could hit the right pitch that Christine could. And it would make writing music so much faster for him! ^^

Technology is evil, but a necessary one.
I think we are all glutton for punishment in this regard, being too dependent on it.

Erik would have a much easier time surviving nowadays, with the technology as his only window to the outside world that he needs.
In fact, he'd be an excellent ghost writer (HA!).

I like the colors you pick as well.
Nice drawing! ^.^

I do my best to find interesting angles and perspectives, which can easily make a drawing.
I'm tickled to hear it seems to come through.
And yes, Erik can kidnap guide me any day or night, too.

Thanks for your comment!

Yes the angles are very important in how the picture comes to life. You did a good job here.
Haha dearest Erik

My pleasure!

Thank you!
And to think I almost scrapped this, after realizing I've already had a piece in the gallery with Erik in a similar pose.
Of course, I didn't realize it till I was done with the rough sketch, at which point, I told myself that I needed to finish something to get myself going again.
Now I'm glad I finished it.

Yes, but now you can compare the two and see how you've improved since last drawing that pose!
I am very glad you didn't scrap it! ^_^

Don't even get me started.
I can't stand my older pieces, so if I start comparing, there'll be no end of it.
Sometimes, I have to force myself to leave well enough alone.
