You forgot to add the photoshop coloured craze. A drawing coloured in traditional ways will EVER match something made with technology. You WILL have to dominate photoshop or whatever techniques if you don't want to be a piece o crap, even if you're drawings are great. You will have to do art in the 4chan style with 4 chan characters, colourful and stupid. Those are two important bits to the recipy, in my opinion O_o
