Description

Here's a piece that I've wanted to create for a while, but had always been put off with the prospect of having to draw all nine characters at once. Drawing objects and scenery is easy enough, but drawing characters is time-consuming like nobody's business; this took me a long time to make.

I've never been into Strawberry Shortcake, having never watched any of it's past iterations, whether it be the 1980s, 1991, 2003, 2007 or the 2009 version; however, I have found myself watching the latest version: Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City, which is pretty much the show getting the Friendship is Magic treatment. While some people have expressed distaste in their designs, I have no prior opinion on the previous shows, so they look fine to me.

From the bottom working around clockwise: Strawberry Shortcake (left) and Raspberry Torte (right), Bread Pudding, Sour Grapes, Blueberry Muffin, Lime Chiffon, Orange Blossom, Lemon Meringue, and Huckleberry Pie. All of them are leaping from a massive explosion of fruit, apparantely caused by Lemon, the only berry who can make anything go boom.
