Second of three commissions for ~aethergamer (first one is [link] ) of his Hawkfoot and my Iavar arguing over something. (Btw- Hawkfoot is referring to the last commission, and Iavar is talking about an incident in my webcomic [link] )And I don't even know why, but I get really strange urges to draw really strange/random things, sometimes. Like [link] . But anyways, this time it was to draw Iavar bundled up in winter clothes. Aaaaand as it would be strange to have one centaur wrapped up really warm and cozy and the other not, Hawkfoot is too (I hope you don't mind, Aether).
If it looks like Iavar has a warmer outfit on, it's because he does. He's about to head up into the really cold and already snowy mountains (which is also why he's wearing shoes), whereas Hawkfoot is being smart and staying down where it's (relatively) warm. Or something.
So yeah. Art is mine, so is Iavar, and Hawkfoot is Aether's. Don't use any of them.

This is beautifully done! I love the clothes! Only the extreme geek in me feels the need to point out that unless he had barium shoes with pads on, horseshoes would probably be a hinderance in ice and snow. ^^

Yeah, when I was a kid we left the shoes on the horses one winter and I had to go out with a screwdriver and a hammer every couple of days and chip the ice out of thier shoes or else they ended up walking on compacted ice balls.

Hmmm... he very well may be. I wasn't really thinking about a specific breed, though- just something a tad smaller/slimmer than Iavar. Iavar, however, was specifically based off a Hanoverian, at first (in case you were curious. ^^ He might be a tad big for one now, not sure).

I just think quarter horse for some reason when i see him, he looks very native American so idk but i relate the quarter horse with them ^_^

I'm absolutely in love with the clothes you gave the both of them! Once again, you amaze me with your freedoms. This is just seriously makes me need to bust out a sketchbook and just doodle for hours. I need to get more ideas on paper!

I still like em alot, and your coloring is just beautiful! I also like what you did with the tree background, it reminds me of how hard it is to find one tree by looking at the top of them X.x. Also whats the name of the font you used ^_^
