Flippy, my favourite character in the Happy Tree Friends universe (well at least the good Flippy. His evil side ranks 5 or 6 in my list) this time in 7 different emotions and activities!Flippy is a Special Forces Soldier in the army. He achieved a very high kill-death ratio with an approximately 12:1 ratio. He is a bipolar soldier. His good side is considered one of the kindest in the universe. When he flips out, things turns out for the worse for everyone caught in his sights. Known methods to wake him up including water, Flaky's screams (only works rarely), and to wait until he calms down. Killing him will also stop his rampage but it is not recommended as most will not stand a chance againts his evil side even from 20 feet away.
P.S. Can anyone help perplexed Flippy too solve his equation???

this problem of flippy's, you know, when a bang is heard he should go crazy and wanna fight, but of course that that his problem, being he's a kleptomaniac soldier! he flips off out of control in his head.

Bipolar is when you randomly have outbursts or sudden emotions of anger I believe. PTSD is when you have trauma from past events.

flippy is my fave character too and i think loud noises such as popping objects (like nutty's head in double whammy and flaky in party animal) could also snap him out

He has a severe case of post traumatic stress disorder. Whenever he sees or hears something that reminds him of war (e.g., gunshot-like sounds or crackling campfires), he goes insane and kills everyone around him and sometimes himself, believing that he is still in war (it's likely that this is a split personality that he developed as a result of his experience in war judging from him basically becoming someone else in most of his appearances, not even being himself while flipped out and the few instances he resisted his evil side during Double Whammy and Hear Today, Gone Tomorrow). While flipped-out, several physical features about him change: his eyes turn a different color, usually green or yellow, his voice changes from high and cute to low and evil, and his teeth become sharp.
He is a retired veteran soldier in the Army. He fought in the Weaponized Animal Regiment (The W.A.R), and has an obsession with making booby traps inspired by the Viet Cong, as well as a flashback of his experience of being held captive by them (as seen in Easy For You to Sleigh). In addition, his attire seems to resemble to the U.S. Army Special Forces, which played a role during the Vietnam War. As he fought for years, he was promoted to the rank of sergeant. According to writer Warren Graff, Flippy is mostly based on John Rambo. During the Internet and TV series, it is unknown if Flippy has retired from the Army or if they are simply in a time of peace.
