Ahhh I wanted to practice pixels so I made dA icon sized pixels for some of my friends, and also for norree, who put in an esk art request in my journal that I wasn't able to get to before the event ended <3Thank you for letting me pixel your characters everyone ; A ; I think I learned a lot between the first one (mine) and the last (norree's).
Clockwise from top: esk 232 (mine), esk 072 ( jasmine-blight ), calico kitsirin ( Ryuukishin ), esk 025 ( norree ), gemini kitsirin ( rejamrejam ), esk 079 ( Lei-Leiurus ), and in the center is warrior-saint 's bepotelkh fawn, Pany. Β I'd think this was obvious but even though they're small, please don't take or use these unless the characters are yours!

and kitsirin were created by rejamrejam who doesn't have a group set up for them!

but it was so, so nice to be able to see them again, and to admire 'em as much as I did the first time! it's like nostalgia, except expectation matches reality. they have SUCH a nice variety: I love how you played with the contrast and saturation of each of them; i've seen the majority of these characters maybe once?? yet despite being roughly the size of momo's button nose, they're still immediately recognizable to me. i feel like you do so much with so little, and i think that's super impressive!! i especially LOVE THAT HOT KITSIRIN ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT

WOOW aren't these charming?? OH my gosh they are so adorable!! You are so skilled, to fit such an array of poses in teeeny tiny dimensions! ahh you never know until you try T__T!! Β I had never remotely pixeled anything resembling an animal last night (lol most of my other "pixel experience" is with making silly emojis for my friends' private discord servers) and i found that it helped me a lot to do the undersketch with a tiny anti-aliased brush lol

I personally have the hardest time fitting all the details in a small space ;v; That and when I animate pixels I always overdo it and DA won't let me use it as my icon >
