Sorry, it doesn't have a very pretty layout lol.If you have any questions feel free to fire away, I'll answer them all.
I made this for ZeroSilence on the CosplayIsland forums, to help with her Roxy Richter wig. I hope it helps!

Depends on how long you need your pigtails to be, but for a short pigtail like Misty's, just below shoulder length should do.

This is a really great tutorial! Thanks so much! I have a question though. If I cut where the thick mesh is, will some of the hair fall off?

A few hairs might fall out if you snip them, but it should be covered by the weft/pigtail that you're replacing that area with

Hi! I was just wondering, when you wear the wig with the stub and safety pin, does it feel uncomfortable? Like the stub's poking your head or anything?

Personally I don't feel anything. I have hair and a wig-cap in between my scalp and the stub so that protects me. The safety pin is flat against the wig so it's at the wrong angle to poke into my head. As for the stub, it depends on how big you make it- obviously if it's smaller then it'll be less likely to poke into your head.
