as for how I attached them, I used an adhesive called 7800 - its made for using on leather, which my base gloves are made out of. I had to sand the area on the glove where the screw was going to sit and underneath the screw itself to create something for the glue to grab on to, but it worked wonderfully.

I haven't attached the armor to the gloves yet so I don't know about comfort, but because I made the armor out of model magic its incredibly light and not heavy on my hands at all ^^
