John Shepard is THE Commander Shepard, while Jane's a solider in the N-7 Program.
Both are happily retired.

It's what I expected from both Shepards. This conversation about their baby and how much pain the mother's going to be during birth.
Jane rules and dominates the relationship.
But John's the type of new dad to dote on his kid. And that kitchen....

It's really sweet to see parents being adorable to their unborn child. It shows how much they love each other and towards their child.
There is hope in the end. Despite whatever they both went through, they deserve happiness.

I love the coloring in this (and the background is awesome). I never thought about John/Jane, but now that I think about it, it seems like an awesome pairing!
The only thing that distracts from the rest of the piece is the four-toes-each thing John and Jane having going on their feet.

For John Shepard, I went ahead and gave him the default Earthborn/Sole Survivor/Solider. He's Canon! Commander Shepard.
For Jane, I gave her Earthborn/Warhero/Solider.
For Earthborn, since they were both orphans on Earth, their past is at the very least, sketchy and blurred with time and still a mystery. It's highly likely they had separate parents, just with the same last name. The universe is a huge place. It's not weird to have the same last name as someone totally different and not related to you or your family.
It's odd, but not usual to have your husband/wife have the same birthday, along with the same year/month as you. My parents were both born on the same day/year/month. Weird right?!
But my mother was born five hours earlier than my dad, so they often joke about being the eldest of the family.
They both had separate parents.

John, don't be messing with a nine-month pregnant woman. If looks could kill, you'd be dead in a heart beat.
I love modern clothing. ME's clothing really turned me off. It's not as diverse as today's clothing. Seeing them in normal 21th century clothing in that kind of style, along with a Western style kitchen just clinched the Shepards as trying their best to be a normal family.
I love to have that kitchen, like you wouldn't believe. I bet they had money left over to go over the top with appliances and all the things a growing family needs. ^_^

I think John was the only one who line of clothing was close to 21st century (example that awesome jacket!). Poor Jane had like leftovers or dresses! My Shepard hate dresses! >_< But overall They barely had any clothes! That would have been a mission if I was Shep! After Ash/Kai gets hurt, I would run right to the store with my buddies Garrus and Tali (oh right got to go pick them up first!) and go on a mad shopping spree!
I bet they have all of the best "TV's" and halo gadgets too! Daddy Shep can't live without them! XD

And I agree, John had the more present clothing than Jane. I didn't mind the clothing choices, but I wish they could have at least been creative for both genders.
