" The advertisement was no out of the ordinary, if naught but a small splurge of words - always the same, a paged jumble of heights and lineage and fancy wording. Amy would have undoubtedly continued flicking aimlessly through the pages of the local horse sales magazine if it hadn't been for a great big splash of red and adorable eyes. A gelding, which she initially believed to be somewhat of a shame considering how divinely flattering this horse looked to be. But wouldn't it be nice? She was oh-so-busy with Enchantress and her up coming colt, who undoubtedly would remain intact. An easy going competition gelding amidst their hoard of mares would be perfect - but did she really need another horse? The small add had mentioned a daughter that had since lost interest, and thus this apparently quiet and honest warmblood-bred dun rabicano had spent a couple of years turned out, untouched. His price was right, and so was everything else, and though she knew she really shouldn't, Amy quickly found herself typing an enthusiastic email to his current owners in hope of making an appointment to inspect.
