Audrey II - Pod #4
The Audrey II is all grown up now. It's a whopping 70 lbs, not including the large branch attachments. The giant pod is operated by a single puppeteer and the branches are controlled by two people sitting side-to-side just out of view from the audience.
The voice of the plant is synced with the puppeteer from off stage.

Ok, I'm ok. I just saw the musical tonight and we used the same puppet. It was insane! I loved it...
Anywho, the guy that voiced Audrey II in our play did an amazing job! He sounded just like the original and the guy that played Seymour looked just like the original Seymour. It was so cool!

I've always had great respect for the people who are the puppeteers for pods 3 and 4. That's gotta be incredibly hard to do. So far I'm loving all the photos of your LSoH performances ^_^ Did you guys rent the pods or make them yourselves?
btw, I'm sorry for nit-picking, but the lyrics are a bit mixed up. It's either:
"He's got your number now. He knows just what you've done. He knows your life of crime. I think it's suppertime!"
or:
"He's got his facts all straight. You know he's on your trail. He's gonna turn you in. They're gonna put you in jail. He's USDA prime! For my suppertime..."
(I'm sorry, I'm kind of a fanatic about this musical, and I've listened to the album so many times the lyrics are ingrained in my mind

I know, but who likes lengthy descriptions? Besides, the lyrics are burned into my brain too. I had LSoH nightmares for like a month after the shows, lol. xD
We raised the money and then some to rent the set of professional puppets, costing about $2,500.
