XsargentwardX asked me to work up a picture on Rinmaru's 'Dragon Master' of her character Queen Josephine, along with the dragoness Azuria.

To explain the situation, Azuria is a dragon that was found underneath Gon'an's castle. She is Devathion's brother (though the two don't quite look alike) and is actually Josephine's ancestor. During the 'War of the Merchants' at Bejem, Azuria was heavily injured and flew north - away from the conflict - to Gon'an, where she met the Great King. Taking a human form, Azuria pleaded the king for help, as her wounds were too severe.

The King, smitten by Azuria's beauty, fell in love with her and helped treat her. The two lived for a time together, but her injuries had greatly shortened her life span. After revealing her dragon form to the King, she passed away, leaving the King mad with grief. In her honor, and in the honor of the dragons of Bejem, a throne and crown were made from dragon scales.

Legends say that the true heir of Bejem will reunite the sister lands (being Bejem and Gon'an) and, upon donning the crown, will become the ambassador to both humans and dragons alike.

On a slightly different note, the reason why I gave Josephine a bow is that she is a skilled archer, but also because the bow - called 'The Wolf Bane' - was forged by Lupa, the Planar of the Sun and patron deity of Gon'an. It is said that the weapon has the power to bind wolves and werewolves to the user's will, and its arrows can turn whoever gets struck by it into loyal werewolves. Moreover, only the High Queen of Gon'an (Josephine) and Lupa herself can wield such a weapon.
