I just updated a few things, just spacing and wording and added the profile references at the bottom.

I have a question about this species.
If the female's dont have to breasts then how do you tell between male and female?

Normally you wouldn't be able to tell, just by looking at them but their voices tend to be higher like how it is in the real world. The only real way to tell is to see genitalia. But males are usually taller. I mean, you could make them look more feminine looking in the facial features, like longer eyelashes, a softer look compared to gritty and hard lines. But, that's the beauty of these species I think, not being able to tell a difference in looks and rather inquire through conversation. If that makes any sense lol

That makes sense and is really cool. You make your Akarion oc unisex which i think is really cool. The thought of you really taking your time on this species and spent years developing them is really cool!
Also you said that they are based off of tropical birds, do Owl's count?

They are, but honestly, you can make any bird. As long as it's based of a bird you're fine.

But also, If a Akarions tail can be really slim and long can it be wide and medium sized. Like a actual birds tail? Or is just the slim ones?

That's really cool! You can really let your imagination spread with this species which is awesome! Although there is still something that bothers me. Are there any defects for this species or do they have similar defects to humans, like lets twins that were literally joined at the hip? Or say in rare cases two heads, or another appendage?

And defects wise, really there isn't unless it's from battle. Or if you've read Noe's bio, some Akarions believe that Herms are a plague to the land and want to get rid of them. You can read that here if you wish N O E Reference (Bio Updated)
As far as defects go, the world is developed under the "Canopy Theory" I don't know if you've heard of it before, but the world itself has this "greenhouse" effect which is a "canopy" over their planet, which holds hardly any disease/sickness. Which is one reason why they can live up to 200 years or so and still look young. They grow like normal humans, but once they reach like 27 or so they look like they are 27 for a long time, but those that have magic wear the body down making them look older. So once Akarions reach a certain age, like 150 the body starts to deteriorate over time the magic will consume the body and returns into the surface or into the "canopy" which sustains life. It's a never ending cycle.

So if the species can be any color's can they be a pure color? Like pure black, red, green, etc. Or are those only for high ranking Akarion's?
What is the limit of jewelry, feathering, armor, on a Akarion?
What's the difference between a high ranking Akarion and a lower ranking one? Like physically?

-Yes, they can be a pure full color. Just make sure they have their markings, as shown from the ref.
-Unless you are a thief or part of the royal clan area, jewelry isn't that common. Some stuff may be handed down from generations on the clan you choose, but rarely do you see jewelry worn unless your from the royal region.
-Akarions feathering are pretty exact to the ref, some may have a lot longer crests, tails, or elbow feathering then others, but most of the feathers are kept like normal birds.
-Armor, imagine playing Skyrim or Medieval times. Lots of leather with cloaks or iron chain mail with leather greaves.
-Ranking deals with just how well you know your skill. (The ranks were mainly to be used for game developing) Has nothing to do with your physical attributes.

Does the universe the Akarions are in have any futuristic or different foods we have? Or do they have the same as us?
What's they're diet? Carnivores? Herbivores? Omnivores?
Are there any pets of such?

Food wise like I said before thing of medieval times.
So their food is like ours, only there are different animals of course. I still have yet to make a range of creatures for the universe so that's still kinda hangin' in the air.
Diet is personal preference to the character, so they really are omnivores, but just depends on the character.
pets as of right now are Nocas, kind of like dog rabbits. I don't have a ref of them yet, but they are SUPER old, so i need to revamp them
I mean...there is a large range for magic. But for the reference sheets I mainly just say the mainstream name for the arcane magics. Like just saying the elements; earth, wind, fire, etc. Then you can name them in sub categories if you wish. So if you had death magic and fire you could say you can use.. uh "toxic embers" and so on and so forth. But I like not having OP characters so I think on the reference sheet I put that you can have secondary magic, but not like a multitude. You have a primary focus on one area of magic.

I highly suggest reading everything though, plus this is still all in the works and I have a lot of other things that I'm working on to help complete the head world I have for it!
