This is the map of the current world all Akarions live on.

This world is a little based up by the theory of Pangaea. For those of you who don't know what Pangaea is I highly suggest you search and read about it cause it's super cool. xD Basically the world was set as one whole land mass, a single continent, and plate tectonics shifted which created Earth to be separated as 7 different continents. With Atlin, it's the same concept, only at this time period the land is only split by a little. But, I also put this world within the Canopy theory, thus, why Akarions live twice as long, of course, magic helps this too. Akarions can live up to 120-130 years. When they are younglings they grow as normal humans would, but once they reach their mid 20's, they seem to freeze in time through age, until they reach 100 or so, that's when their bodies start to degrade because their bodies can't hold magic very well anymore. Once they die, all magic is released from their bodies and dispersed back into the world, releasing energy back into the atmosphere which creates the Canopy around the planet leaving the world protected by harmful bacteria, ozone layer, and keeps vital energy to revolve around in masses. This is how they live so long.

The dashes you see are what makes up the border lines of the clans. There are unmarked territories of course, thus, making a pilgrimage that much harder for those who want to journey to other clans to learn various techniques. But there are of course small areas that have small towns/rest stops. I have yet to pin point them on the map, but they are there.
As for biomes and climate it is very much like our Earth, Borok is like Cali and Gallogg is like heading to Saudi Arabia xD haha so you can imagine how Linji and the Ashinik clan climates are like. Ashinik has very harsh winters, but short hot and humid summers, and beautiful cool fall seasons...like Canada lol x3

Key Areas:

Skeleton Isle- Pretty much the jail of Atlin. Very high security and heavily guarded by some of the strongest Akarion guards. Pretty similar to Azkaban from Harry Potter. xD This is where the worst crime outlaws are kept and put to death, depending on how high their bounty/crime was.

Sea of Souls-A very sacred area, and very contradictory to where it's located because it's so close to Skeleton Isle. This place is one of the main areas where dying Akarions like to go for their last dying wish. To leave the mortal world from the Sea of Souls. (I have yet to make names and rituals for spiritual/cults/religion among the Akarions, but I will post about it very soon)

Elvünoi Peninsula, Zuwaii Cove & Valheia Port- The busiest and most prosperous marketing in the area. The New York City of Atlin. From fresh fish markets to powerful weaponry this place is for all of your item held needs.

Mountains of Gabor- A huge divider between the land, very rough and treacherous terrain, but has beautiful landscape scenery.

Mt. Zytan- Demi god, Zabū's high mountain shrine to meditate. Very sacred mountain use for prayer.

Lock Jaw Gulf- This area is a huge hazard for ships. It pretty much is a ship graveyard from all the rocky areas.

Ell Peninsula- Full of thieves, scoundrels, and pirates. But one of the best markets for uncommon powerful weaponry and drugs. Almost like a big black market.

Qualum Reef- A growing phenomenon happens here on every harvest moon. The reef glows in the moon light with a brilliant white and blue. Almost like suspended northern lights only brighter. A fair share of Akarions come here to watch the phenomenon and harvest some of their best foods and offer it as a blessing. This is seen it as good fortune for the next prosperous harvest.

Northern Islands of Gull- Training grounds for the Linji Clan. Extreme regiment for recruiting and processing for the Four Elders to pass the most skillful warriors and bestow them with a unique and powerful technique to their weapon of choice.

Ijin Peninsula & Kuhquoa Desert- High desert plains and dunes with forceful winds and sandstorms. Not much here except maybe a few oasis areas and rest stops.

Dykohjii Swamp Lands- As it says, swamp lands. High temperate climate with humidity. There are actually quite a few Akarions who dwell here. Mainly living in trees, and living a small, tranquil life, away from the hustle and bustle of the Clans. (Though, even living outside a clan you are born into one. Even if you are not in the vicinity, you are still born under that of generations from the certain clan your heritage comes from.)

That's an interesting wold. I like the different locations you described. It sounds fun to explore them (:
From the way the map looks does it seem like the world is much smaller than earth. How big is it?
Anyway, nice map. I like it (:

It does look small, but it's still the same size lol That's one reason why I made the map oval so when you wrap it it pretty much takes up the entire space.

Yeah, maps maps have nothing to do with art. You have to learn entirely different skills to know how to map stuff. I don't know how it works either :P
