hey guys! the lovely had asked me to make a tutorial about my eye make up so here ya go! c:this basically is a 10 minute tutorial to make smokey eyes. If you guys have anymore questions let me know! c:

flfjkfjgfkgkfj THANK YOU SO MUCH. I need to invest in some good brushes and better eyeshadow it seems. I am not used to using eyeshadow very much so I always feel really messy when putting it on, I'm not used to putting colour on my face XD
What brand is your mascara? The one I currently have is Rimmel london but it clumps everything together and actually it's just no good at all.

I use Revlon. A LOT. haha They have the best mascara in my personal opinion. It may be a little pricey compared to Maybeline, Cover girl, and what not, but they still are around the same price, generally. I use 2 mascaras in order to make my lashes have more volume. One is called Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara and the other, Photo Ready 3D Volume. You don't to use two of course, but it always help mine look long and thick. xD

I got two makeup kits for my birthday a few years ago and I've never used them. I have no idea how to use mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow... pretty much no idea how to put on any make up :c

D: oh you poor bby!! well, they are quite simple once you get the hang of it. I was the same way, just takes practice! I know there are A LOT of tutorials on youtube you could find. A lot of makeup in itself bases on your eye color, eye shape, brow shape, and lash line. It almost comes to a science and an art! xD There are just so many ways to do your makeup too; Glam, classy, gothic, heavy, light, everyday, natural, nightlife, etc. You just have to explore what you really want to do for your "look."

Nice! I rarely use eyeshadow, the most makeup i put on normally is just some eyeliner and mascara. I have a problem where my face gets really oily and my eyeliner rubs off into the crease of my lid--all of my eyeshadow does this too. Do you know of any solutions to fix/prevent this?

Normally, a good primer will help prevent that smudging but sometimes that happens to me too, its kinda hard to get rid of that, but here is some things I found that could help:
1. Use an eyeshadow primer- Urban Decay has a really good one, or if you really don't want to buy one, you can use concealer or foundation, but it doesn't work as well.
2. Set your eyeshadow primer with a loose powder. You can use powder foundation, setting powder, or anything of that nature. You can also use a nude eyeshadow.
3. Apply your pencil eyeliner/twist liner/liquid liner
4. This is optional: powder over your pencil eyeliner with a loose powder again.
5. Take a black eyeshadow and go over your eyeliner. This will ensure it will stay...it will absorb your oil and boost lasting time
Also, it might be because your eyeliner doesn't have good staying power. For drugstore, try Milani Liquif'eye, Revlon Colorstay(I use this one), or Covergirl Liquiline blast. For high-end, try Urban Decay, MAKE UP FOR EVER, or Stila.

i never used my primers i always got a free small one with my eyeshadows and gave it to my friend. im not sure why i think im pretty retardid at doing eyes because no matter what i can never do the eyeliner sweep/wing thing T__T im great at everything else but it never looks good when i do the wings TT
