YESSSS I'M SO STOKEDDDDDso the Enso Circles represent "Strength" in Japanese.
and on my left wrist (which is the one on the right) is the Japanese Kanji for "love" and the other is in Chinese meaning "truth" or "true" =]
lol.

They are beautiful, enso however is a concept more related to eternity, a never ending cycle, a moment of perfection and ultimate understanding of the universe. you should read more about it, there's a ton of zen literature out there. i think you would find great meaning in them that would inspire you both artistically (looking through our gallery a bit

thank you for that tid bit of info. I kept looking for meanings on it through the internet but it only gave me small amounts of info on it. But it means more to me than ever. I really need to invest in getting more tattoos too haha.

yeah of course, my art history thesis was on zen monks and their art, theres a lot of great literature which mostly isnt on the internet, and mostly takes reading 3 times to understand hah. Tattoos are fun, tespecially when they mean things to us
